Recruiting Mentors for Support Scheme for Children with Disabilities 2.0
When children with disabilities (including visual impairment, hearing impairment, physical disabilities, and mental illness) encounter academic problems, it may be difficult for them to receive assistance from their parents. At the same time, children may be limited in their opportunities to explore the world due to their parents' disabilities and may feel inferior because of their differences. Therefore, our organization has launched this program and invites enthusiastic individuals (currently studying in tertiary institutions/universities or having equivalent qualifications) to serve as tutors for these children, helping them solve problems and sharing life experiences to help them grow up happier.
Mentor Responsibilities:
- Regularly provide home tutoring (four sessions per month, two hours per session) for children with disabilities' healthy siblings, serving students from primary to secondary schools.
- Accompany these families to attend outdoor activities or interest workshops to broaden the children's horizons.
- Mentors can receive a volunteer allowance (tuition fee subsidy of HK$75 per hour).
- Register as a mentor for Support Scheme for Children with Disabilities 2.0.

Fearless Dragon Guide Runners (road run/mountain race) run with visually impaired people, acting as their "eyes", leading them to avoid dangers and obstacles on the road, and enjoying the beautiful scenery and fun of running along the way!
The "Getting Started to be a Guided Runner'' video explains the basic qualifications for becoming a guided runner, and experienced guided runners share their personal experiences with you. If you also want to become a guided runner, don't hesitate. Contact us now! Our visually impaired members are looking forward to your arrival!
If you are someone who likes trail running and hiking, you can also apply to become a mountain race leader to help visually impaired people pursue their dreams in passing one mountain after another.
General Volunteers
If you are interested in helping people with disabilities and want to become a volunteer but don't know which category to volunteer in, you can register as a general volunteer first. Our organization will contact you for activities that require volunteers.
