Sports Rehabilitation
People with disabilities can also participate in sports, exercise their bodies and minds, and enhance their self-esteem. In 2011 and 2015, our association established the "Fearless Dragon Running Team" and the " Fearless Dragon Cycling Team" for people with visual and hearing impairment to actively participate in sports activities and charity events to contribute to society
Education Empowerment
Knowledge changes destiny, supporting disabled parents to take care of their children's learning and growth, arranging tutors to provide homework guidance, personal development and family counseling for able-bodied children, and organizing various parent-child activities to promote communication and acceptance among family members. Besides, our association arranges disabled speakers to visit more than 30 primary and secondary schools every year to share with more than 6000 students, conveying the message of disability integration and adversity self-reliance.
Arts and Culture
We co-organise arts and cultural activities with various partners to enhance disabled persons’ abilities to appreciate and create artworks in order to enrich their cultural well-beings and experiences
Universal Design and Technology
We promote universal design and accessible technology, develop assistive technology and mobile applications to improve the quality of life and independence of people with disabilities.
Our association also started to hold Technology courses in small groups to help people who lack knowledge of using smartphones, starting from the most basic settings and gradually enhancing their self-reliance with technology.
Our Mission and Vision
Our mission is to facilitate equal participation of disabled persons in the community and promote an inclusive and altruistic culture in society. We encourage people with disabilities to take enthusiastic part in activities of sports rehabilitation, education and empowerment, arts and culture, as well as universal design and technology. We also advocate the collaboration between the Government, the business sector and the general public on creating an accessible environment so as to achieve our ultimate goal of making “Equal Contributions for an Inclusive Society”.
