Jockey Club Support Service for the Children of Disabled Parents 2.0

In 2020, our organization received funding once again from the "Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust" to implement the "Jockey Club Support Project for Children with Disabilities of Parental Caregivers 2.0" for a period of three years. This project is a pioneering initiative in society aimed at assisting parental caregivers of children with disabilities to meet the learning and growth needs of their non-disabled children, and promoting communication between parental caregivers and their children with disabilities. The project also aims to help parental caregivers and their children with disabilities build self-confidence, so that disabled families can participate more actively in community activities and promote social inclusion.

In addition, the "Jockey Club Support Center for Families with Disabilities" was established in 2020 with the aim of becoming a gathering place for families with disabilities, enabling them to meet new friends and encouraging them to step out into the community while also increasing their sense of belonging to the organization. The center also has an assistive technology resource corner, providing facilities such as computers, braille displays, and magnifiers, enabling people with disabilities to enjoy the fun brought by technology and keep up-to-date with the latest information in society.
